Geography
The
area of Satun Province in the
north and the east are hilly
and mountainous, the important
mountainranges are Bantud and
Sunkalarkiri.
The area of the
province slopes down to the
sea in the west and the south
with along narrow plane, paralleling
the coast line.
Next to the
plane is a large area of mangrove
swamp, thickened with many kinds
of mangrove trees, there are
some short camals from the mountainramges
to the north and the east of
the province.
